A Conference for trade unionists
organised by the SERTUC Public Services and International Committees on
Saturday 16 March 2013
10.00 am – 16.00 pm, Congress House, Great Russell St, London WC1 3LS
Across Europe, trade unionists are having to resist an assault on living standards and
an attempt to roll back all the gains won by our movement over decades. Yet, as
unions have warned, cuts and ‘austerity’ are just making the economic crisis worse.
It is against that background, and following shortly after a European Trade Union
Confederation Day of Action, that this SERTUC Conference is being organised. Come
and join the debates, and hear from leading speakers from across the trade union
movement, to discuss how we can organise to oppose austerity in Europe and the U.K.
