I teach at Kisharon special needs school in Barnet. The council are removing all of the unresticted parking bays in the area in favour of residents parking bays. They will not issue parking permits to the teaching staff leaving us nowhere to park at all.

Well, your Council seems to have considered residents and blue badge holders, have you thought of taking the bus, walking or getting a life? Meantime, life goes on without cars for a lot of us!

I am going to post this all over the site, unfortunately the notice publicising Manchester’s event on 29th April gives no opportunity for feedback, it really should, and it really should be taken up all over the country:

Just seen what Manchester is doing on 29th April. Brilliant and so poignant, a funeral for their public services. There is no mechanism to repond to them on their notice, so I brought it here. I will go to that, also urge people, everyone please, to place a wreath or a single white lily on the steps of their local government building on that day and when asked why, well, if you belong here you know the answer.
