Superb. Even through the awful Thatcher years, I had a belief in the system. That it was just her. Democracy would prevail etc etc. The nightmare we are now facing is evil beyond evil. Two smug Eton educated arseholes are leading us gloriously into the abyss. But thats fine, they will still emerge with their wealth intact, and most probably profit on top. Meanwhile, back in the real world, do not get old, sick or poor. Do not question why our kids are sent to be maimed or sadly die in a war in a place we have no right to be. Do not scratch your head and ponder why the energy, water, even the air we breathe is taxed beyond affordability, even though the previous generations have already paid through the nose to enjoy those basic commodities. Nope, stay calm be British carry on and vote yourselves into early graves. For the first time in my Socialist life, I finally throw in the towel. Vive la Revelucion.

Perfectly put, now we are in the most awful predicament and unless the UK people stand up and say no, they will have total control.

What a superb video! Saturday’s Starbucks protest in Shrewsbury was a great success. UK Uncut members were joined by Shropshire Fights Back, trades union and trades council members, and other groups, and most shoppers were scandalised by the company’s tax avoidance and its recent attacks on staff. We could be waiting a long time for Westminster politicians and trades union leaders to lead the charge for justice, so we have to co-ordinate activists from protest groups, groups working with the disabled and vulnerable, and trades union members to get people on our side, and to let the ruling class know that they have a fight on their hands.
